Rules:

1. (x³)(x⁴) = x⁷  ( x ^m ) ( x ⁿ ) = x^{( m + n )}
2. ^(x2)4 = x⁸  ( x^m ) ⁿ = x ^{m n}
3. Anything to the power of zero is "1"

Unit 2: Surds

Rules:

1. 2√3 = √4 x √3= √(4x3) 
2. √3/√5 = √(3/5)
3. √3 x √3 = 3
